Our Ponies

Rolo
Rolo

Rolo is a 10-year-old Dartmoor pony. At 11.2 hands high she is the smallest in our Group with a big personality. Rolo is owned by the Tweeddale Group and was bought thanks to a generous donation from Kingsland School.
Millie

Millie is a 15.2 hh grey mare who was a successful eventer with her previous owner. She came to the Tweeddale Group when she retired from eventing - the group was lucky enough to be able to buy her thanks to a very generous anonymous donation. Millie settled in well and has quickly became a favourite among our taller riders.
ILPH Su

Su is a 12.1 hh, dark brown pony who belongs to the World Horse Welfare and is on loan to Katherine Carson. She featured on the Channel 4 programme Pet Rescue in 1998. Su has a cheeky temperament and is very popular with our young riders.




Bobby

Kuki

Kuki is a 15.3, tri coloured, Irish Cob. She has a very gentle nature and loves the attention she gets during RDA sessions. When Kuki's not helping out with RDA, Kirsty, who looks after her, takes her out for long hacks with some of her stablemates from Crookston.

Bobby

Bobby is a 12-year-old, bay gelding, his gentle nature and unflappable temperament mean that he's ideal for our group. When Bobby is not being used by the RDA he loves hacking out around the hills or doing cross-country jumping
Poppy

Poppy is a 13-year-old, 13.2 hh, cream dun Highland mare, she is full of fun and a definite favourite with our riders. Her owner, Sally, keeps Poppy fit by hacking her out in the local forests or up into the Border hills.
